Grains

OMAHA (DTN) -- On Sunday evening, December corn is down 2 3/4 cents, November soybeans are down 3 1/4 cents and December KC wheat is down 2 3/4 cents. As far as weather is concerned, the weekend was relatively quiet and generally favorable for row-crop harvest progress. The forecast remains mostly dry the next seven days, except for rain from Oklahoma to Alabama. According to Bloomberg news, U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross expressed optimism a limited trade deal with China could be signed this month. Outside markets are quiet. Dow Jones futures are up 34 points, the December U.S. dollar index is up 0.02, December gold is up $2.50 and December crude oil down 18 cents.
