KIOTI Reveals Utility Tractors
KIOTI Unveils Newest, Biggest Utility Tractors in Its Line
KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA Inc., on Tuesday introduced its largest tractors to date: the HX1302 (130 horsepower) and HX1402 (140 horsepower). Company officials said they believe these newest tractors are well positioned to perform farming operations such as tilling, cultivating, excavating and grading.
"The tractor is big enough that it really fits into small agricultural applications," said Joel Hicks, product line manager for tractors at KIOTI. "You start looking at the cattle market (with these tractors), haying operations. It's a good-sized tractor for spreaders. It can get up and down the road quickly."
The HX1302 and HX1402 are powered by KIOTI four-cylinder water-cooled diesel engines, delivering up to 140 horsepower and 120 PTO horsepower with 540/540E/1,000 rpm speeds. A power boost feature unlocks an extra 9% in horsepower and torque.
"These are our first products with semi-powershift transmissions," Hicks said. These KIOTIs have 32 forward and 32 reverse travel speeds. "You get eight shifts before you have to change ranges," he added.

The tractors' top speed is 25 mph. Wet multi-disc brakes provide stopping power.
The HX1302 and HX1402 incorporate closed-center hydraulic systems (44-gallon-per-minute capacity). A closed-center hydraulic system generates higher power and constant pressure. The tractors boast an 8,492-pound maximum lift capacity and a category II three-point hitch.
The five-pillar cab features wide expanses of glass, a deluxe air-suspension seat with a heated lower cushion, and a tilt and telescoping steering wheel. An illuminated digital instrument panel offers critical information at a glance, including vehicle status and warnings. KIOTI's Connect TMS system, which provides real-time alerts and vehicle data, is optional.
The HX1302 has a beginning price of $97,940. The HX1402 begins at $106,440.
Headquartered in Wendell, North Carolina, KIOTI sells tractors ranging from 22 horsepower to 140 horsepower, plus utility vehicles, residential and commercial zero-turn mowers, and compact construction equipment.
