T7 HEAVY DUTY TRACTOR ADDED TO TRACTOR LINE

New Holland North America has added a T7 Heavy Duty (HD) tractor to its tractor line. The T7 HD sports next-generation PLM Intelligence features plus a new, larger Horizon Ultra cab.

"Integrating the new generation of PLM Intelligence to the T7 HD only elevates the tractor," said Ken Paul, high horsepower marketing manager for New Holland Agriculture North America. "Farmers now can easily do more in their operation and be remotely connected to dealers and support services."

The T7 HD includes next-generation PLM Intelligence (Precision Land Management). It marks a shift, New Holland said, to where precision and interconnected farming assists farmers to plan all operations in advance, manage in real time the behavior and performance of each machine, and achieve maximum precision and efficiency.

"Servitization and digitalization are the gates to the future," said New Holland Brand President Carlo Lambro. "They have made possible to integrate the physical presence at the wheel with an array of digital services that mean we can always be at our customer's side."

While the T7 HD appears similar to other T7 models, only 2% of parts inside it are carryovers. New Holland says the T7 HD is the quietest tractor in the industry measured at 66 dBA. That is the level of a normal conversation and only slightly louder than moderate rain.

The cab has been lengthened to provide additional room for the passenger and more floor space. The interior spaces include a 30-liter storage space behind the seat, a 12-liter capacity cooled compartment, covered storage behind the passenger seat with a USB charging point and a mains voltage socket, open storage trays on the right side of the cab and a netted storage bin within the rim of the roof.

The redesign has improved visibility to the front and down to the rear hitch and implement, while cameras keep a safe watch on the area around the tractor. A new work light package with up to 24 LED lights ensures visibility around the tractor and implement.

The cab includes a new SideWinder Ultra armrest and user-friendly IntelliView 12-inch display. The controls can be configured to match the operator's preferences.

A CentreView display (fuel, temp, RPMs, etc.) is placed in the center of the steering wheel to provide a clear line of sight.

Other features include:

-- Climate control system with zone selection has 35% more capacity to maintain temperatures in all seasons.

-- Auto Comfort seat features lateral suspension and a climate control system that extracts moisture on hot days or warms on cold mornings.

-- The Horizon Ultra cab's advanced connectivity enables customers to bring their digital life on board. Their mobile device automatically connects to the screen and can be operated with a button on the armrest.

-- Through the MyNewHolland App, customers can register their machine and retrieve its technical information, and access the MyPLMConnect portal, where they can manage their fleet and farm data in a single environment.

-- New Holland is introducing the new PLM Cygnus receiver. It provides position, compensating for terrain variations, and helps acquire guidance lines.

YAMAHA UNVEILS NEW EF2200IS GENERATOR

Yamaha Motor Corp, USA is rolling out a new EF2200iS inverter generator, with a carbon monoxide sensor integrated into a detection and shutdown system.

When the CO Sensor detects elevated levels of carbon monoxide, the EF2200iS automatically shuts off and will remain off for five minutes, with indication that the generator needs to be moved to a well-ventilated space.

Yamaha's high-output MZ80 OHV, air-cooled, single cylinder 4-stroke engine delivers a maximum of 2,200 watts of AC output with a maximum AC current of 18.3 amps at 120 volts. For additional power, Yamaha's Twin Tech parallel function allows two units to connect for a combined power output of 3,600 watts or 30 amps.

The EF2200iS is capable of running for 10.5 hours.

The Yamaha EF2200iS with CO Sensor will begin arriving in dealers this August for $1,199. For more information go to: www.yamahamotorsports.com/powerproducts
