Grains

OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 19:11 on 9/27/26 -- December corn is down 4 1/4 cents, and November soybeans are down 4 cents. December KC wheat is down 5 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 5 1/4 cents, and December MIAX Minneapolis wheat is down 1 cent. November crude oil is up $0.95, and Dow Jones futures are down 180 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.25, and December gold is down $28.30. Row-crop futures are moderately lower on the open Sunday evening after the White House fact sheet released late Friday gave very vague details regarding China's commitment to buy U.S. agricultural products through the upcoming year. That being said, the market clearly deemed Friday's initial price plunge as an overreaction, given China is well on pace to hit the soybean goal set out in past trade meetings. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said details would be out Monday as well, so traders will be on the lookout. In other news, U.S. weather will be a story again this week after heavy rainfall fell through September thus far and the soybean harvest got off to a slow start across the heart of the U.S. grain belt.
