DTN Daily Basis Comments
Corn, Winter Wheat Basis Remains Steady; HRS Wheat Basis Weakens
The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 34 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was up 1 cent at $3.41. The national average basis for soybeans was also unchanged at 95 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was up 13 cent at $8.00. The national average basis for HRW wheat was unchanged at 28 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 1 cent at $4.68. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 1 cent weaker at 38 cents under the March futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was down 4 cents at $5.12.

SOYBEANS:The DTN National Soybean Index for Friday indicated a national average basis of 95 cents under the Chicago March futures contract, unchanged from Thursday's basis.
SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Soft Red Winter Wheat Index for Friday indicated a national average basis of 28 cents under the Chicago March futures, unchanged from Thursday's basis.
HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index for Friday indicated a national average basis of 28 cents under the Kansas City March futures contract, unchanged from Thursday's basis.
HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index for Friday indicated a national average basis of 38 cents under the Minneapolis March futures contract, 1 cent weaker than Thursday's basis.
