GEORGIA, Early County. Farmland totaling about 243 acres sold to a farm investment company for $1.35 million. Per acre, the average price was $5,556. The property included about 150 acres of irrigated cropland and 77 acres of dry cropland. The land was leased back to the current tenant for the 2022 season. IOWA, Dallas County. A 79-acre tract of tillable farmland sold in a timed online auction for $1.31 million, or an average price of $16,582 per acre. The farm was close to local markets and held an 88 CSR2 soil-quality rating.

Muscatine County. Farmland totaling 116.58 acres sold in two tracts in a timed online action for a total price of $1.69 million. Both tracts were of tillable land. One tract averaged $13,650 per acre; the other, $15,250 per acre. Average price across the whole property was $14,496 per acre. KANSAS, Hodgeman County. CRP and native grassland north of Horsethief Reservoir and totaling 640 acres sold at public auction for $768,000. Price per acre averaged $1,200. KENTUCKY, Henderson County. Five tracts of land totaling 164.79 acres sold at auction for $1.217 million, or an average of $7,385 per acre. Tract sizes ranged from 3 to more than 96 acres. The majority of the property was made up of Henshaw, Weinbach and Uniontown silt loam soils. Per-acre prices ranged from $5,304 to $8,670. SOUTH DAKOTA, Campbell County. At auction, a property of 540 acres sold for $2.96 million, or an average of $5,481 per acre. The property sold in three parcels all to a single buyer. Described as highly productive cropland and quality pasture and hay ground, the land included natural water sources and highway access. WISCONSIN, Grant County. A large dairy-operation liquidation brought more than $11.4 million in a series of auctions. On the land side, 211 acres were sold (a per-acre average price was not available at press time). However, the auction of that land with the dairy facilities and 3,375 head of cattle brought $6.839 million. Included were a milking parlor, heifer barns and employee housing.
