Selecting toys for young children without checking for small parts like magnets or button batteries.

> Slips, Trips and Falls

Not checking for slippery surfaces or tripping hazards when decorating inside or out.

> Fire Hazards

Neglecting to have a working fire extinguisher and smoke alarms in the kitchen and near places where you sleep, or leaving holiday decorations on while sleeping or away.

> Aggressive Driving

Speeding or taking shortcuts during travel.

> Spreading Germs, Not Cheer

Forgetting to properly wash your hands and not practicing food safety when preparing, serving or storing leftovers.

NICE LIST:

> Safety First

When gifting a new bicycle or an ATV, follow up with a helmet and other PPE (personal protective equipment).

> Safe Lifting & Ladder Use

Whether lifting boxes or using a ladder, always remember that safety does matter.

> Proper Christmas Tree Care

Keep your real tree fire-free by keeping it away from heating sources, discarding frayed and damage cords,
and watering sufficiently.

> Drive Responsibly

Designate a sober driver, and drive home safely.

> Self-Care

Your mental well-being matters. Relax, enjoy and take time for YOU this holiday season by finding ways to destress from the hustle and bustle.
