DEERE RELEASES JDLINK BOOST

John Deere has released JDLink Boost, a satellite connectivity solution to ensure customers continue seamless work in fields with little-to-no cellular coverage. JDLink Boost supports the partnership, announced a year ago, between John Deere and Starlink by SpaceX network.

"JDLink Boost brings a game-changing solution to farmers by streamlining connectivity and providing seamless access to critical data that drives informed decision-making," said Ryan Stien, John Deere go-to-market manager for digital technologies.

JDLink Boost provides farmers with a cellular connection in the field with real-time access to their machine and agronomic data.

Data sharing in real time can optimize resource use, Deere said. For example:

-- AutoPath: Automating the creation of paths based on field boundaries can reduce setup time.

-- Remote Monitoring & Alerts: Identifying issues of inefficiencies as they occur helps ensure equipment is running at optimal levels.

-- Connected Support: Customers and dealers can better collaborate for faster response times to any issues with solutions like Expert Alerts, Service ADVISOR Remote and Remote Display Access.

-- See & Spray: Real-time transmission of agronomic and machine data from sensors and cameras mounted on the sprayer, enabling immediate analysis and response.

-- Harvest Automation: Integration of various sensors and automated systems that control.

CNH AI TECH ASSIST

AI Tech Assistant, a CNH chatbot powered by artificial intelligence (AI), is already at work at over 300 authorized agriculture and construction dealer groups in North America, Australia and New Zealand, said the manufacturer of Case IH and New Holland ag and construction machinery. CNH said it is now expanding the service globally.

This tool provides dealer technicians with fast and accurate answers to technical questions.

"The AI Tech Assistant is transformative and sets a course in future tool development that is instinctive to resolving dealer needs. Our goal within the Global Parts & Service team is to simplify repair processes, improve uptime and customer satisfaction with their machine," said Rosella Risso, HEAD of agriculture parts & service at CNH.

DEERE ADDS NEW SELF-MAINTENANCE SOLUTION

John Deere announced another step forward in supporting customers' ability to maintain and repair their machines. This newest addition to Deere's suite of digital solutions enables customers and independent repair technicians to reprogram Deere-manufactured electronic controllers.

These new capabilities will be integrated into the John Deere Operations Center and will offer more solutions for diagnosing and repairing equipment.

"As our equipment has become more technologically advanced, so too have the repair tools needed to advance customer capabilities," said Denver Caldwell, vice president of aftermarket and customer support. "We are committed to offering customers the best equipment ownership experience, both in the form of world-class dealer support and extensive self-repair resources."

NEW DEERE HIGH-SPEED DISK

John Deere has released a new lineup of high-speed disks (HSD), dual-season tools that provide field finish and residue management solutions. The new HSD line replaces the largest models from the 2680H series. They are available in widths ranging from 25 to 45 feet

The new high-speed disk offers improved residue flow, helping to reduce plugging in tough tillage conditions such as high field moisture or high-residue situations, Deere said. In the new model, an additional 4 inches was added between the disk and the finishing basket, providing better overall residue flow.

The high-speed disks come autonomy-ready from the factory, including a receiver mast, harnessing, lighting package and TruSet. Customers will have to add a universal StarFire 7500 receiver to connect to an autonomous tractor for autonomous tillage.

Additional Deere autonomous ready tillage tools include the coulter chisel (CC series), 2430 chisel plow, five-section 2230 field cultivators and the 2660VT.
