John Deere has introduced for model year 2022 a new 800R Floater for ag-service providers and customers, that can be equipped with air boom, updated dry spinner-spreader and liquid systems. Compared to the previous John Deere F4365, the 800R helps operators cover more acres per day, Deere said.

In the field, an 800R can be driven up to 25 miles per hour. The new cab on the 800R is larger and quieter than previous models with 2 extra inches of headroom and 24% wider entry path.

Available options include a heated, ventilated leather seat that can swivel up to 24 degrees to the left or right, a 6.5-inch touchscreen satellite-and-smartphone-ready radio, five USB ports, a 12-volt outlet, refrigerator, dual-tilt steering column, and a backup camera.

The 800R includes common hydraulic pumps that decrease the amount of changeover time required to switch between wet and dry systems. All New Leader dry-bin configurations, Hagie Liquid Systems and Air Boom attachments can now all use the same hydraulic pumps.

For model year 2022, John Deere has redesigned its 25-row, 2430C Nutrient Applicator.

Two sizes of 2430C applicators are available -- the 19-knife tool bar with a 47-foot working width, and the redesigned 25-knife configuration with reduced transport height and a 62-foot working width.

Both come standard on 30-inch spacings with Tru-Depth heavy duty cast standards and TruSet depth control. Coulters, a variety of knives and closing disk options are available for both models.

Placement of the outer wings has changed to allow for maximum working widths and the low transport height. With a reduced transport height of 14 feet, the 62-foot-wide 2430C is 2.5 feet lower than previous models.

The 19- and 25-knife 2430C nutrient applicators will be available to order this winter with delivery in 2022.
