National Black Growers Council Announces 5 Stops on 2022 Model Farm Series

The National Black Growers Council (NBGC) has announced five stops on its 2022 Model Farm Series field tour.

The Model Farm Series provides in-field presentation of new crop-production technologies and practices that are relevant to current and future row-crop operations. The 2022 events will include demonstrations of conservation and regenerative ag practices, biotechnology and crop varieties, weed and pest management, precision agriculture, USDA Programs, and other topics.

Here are the dates and locations of the five Model Farm Series events:

June 17: Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Conyer Farm, LLC (wheat, rice, corn)

July 22: Bonita, Louisiana, Hill Farms (corn, soybeans)

Aug. 25: Campbellton, Florida, Gilbert Farms (peanuts, cotton)

Aug. 26: Montezuma, Georgia, James Farms (cotton, peanuts, soybeans)

Sept. 9: Tanner, Alabama, Darden Bridgeforth & Sons (corn, cotton, soybeans)
