IOWA, Buchanan County. A 51-acre farm sold in two tracts at an online auction for $1.7 million. The sale includes a cropland tract of 39 acres that sold for $16,196 per acre, as well as a 12-acre site with a four-bedroom home, more than 270,000 bushels of grain storage and numerous outbuildings. In all, the farm includes about 41 acres of cropland. The 39-acre parcel is 96% tillable with a soil rating of 82.6.

KANSAS, Barber County. A 311-acre farm sold at auction in two tracts for $799,655, or an average of $2,575 per acre. Both tracts include a crop mix of 156 combined wheat base acres with yields of 47 bushels and 50 bushels per acre, as well as a 54-acre canola base and a 26-acre corn base. The second tract features a 20-acre pasture with two ponds and a shed. The overall farm has a soil rating of 65.24.

NEBRASKA, Garden County. A 523-acre recreational ranch sold at auction for $1.2 million, or $2,296 per acre. The property features three fishing ponds across eight acres with plenty of room to manage deer, create habitat, hunt and fish. The property features established corrals and a water system that supplies 10 pasture units, as well as a ranch-style home.

SOUTH DAKOTA, Beadle County. A 161-acre pastureland farm sold at auction for $693,966, or $4,305 per acre. The property includes virgin sod with the potential to convert to cropland. The pasture is currently fenced with a healthy dam for reliable water access for livestock. About 122 acres feature soil productivity indexes ranging from 66 to 87. The farm overlooks the James River and includes upland game birds and whitetail deer populations.
