ILLINOIS, McHenry County. Two tracts of land totaling nearly 128 acres sold at auction for an average of $11,380 per acre, or $1.46 million. The farm is within the city limits of Harvard, Illinois, and was originally purchased with the intent to develop the property for residential housing. A portion of the south end was developed, and the listing states "the farm may again become a prime location for development." The property, which is all tillable, has a Productivity Index of 128.1 and has been farmed by the same family since 1995.

IOWA, Clinton County. A 60-acre property with wooded acreage, pasture and pond sold for $3,600 per acre, or $216,000. The property boasts numerous recreational opportunities and is contiguous to the Wapsi Oaks Country Club and Syracuse Wildlife Management Area.

MISSOURI, Audrain County. An 86-acre farm sold at auction for $8,600 per acre, or $736,000. While most of the property is in row-crop production, it is terraced with several waterways. A small piece of grass in the southwest corn is currently used for cattle and pasture. That part of the property also includes a pole frame building with tin sides and roof that's used for livestock as well as an automatic drinker on a concrete pad.

SOUTH DAKOTA, Minnehaha County. A 53-acre farm just 10 miles from Sioux Falls sold at auction for $19,000 per acre, or $997,000. The farm's 49 acres of crop land have a soil productivity index of 70.2 and have an average PLC yield of 142 bushels per acre on corn and 32 bpa on soybeans. The property has one remaining rural housing eligibility and several scenic potential home sites.
