AGCO ACQUIRES JCA INDUSTRIES

AGCO has acquired JCA Industries Inc., a Winnipeg, Canada-based business working in the development of autonomous software for agricultural machines, implement controls and electronic system components.

JCA specializes in the design of electronic systems and software development to automate and control agricultural equipment. JCA's path planning, sensor fusion and remote-control software products are used today by original equipment manufacturers. JCA also has been serving some of the world's leading agriculture equipment manufacturers as a provider for electronic designs and software for autonomous machine development.

BOBCAT OFFERS ALL-NEW TL723, TL923 TELEHANDLERS

All-new TL723 and TL923 telehandlers from Bobcat feature redesigned comfort cabs, turbocharged Tier 4 engines and easy-to-access service points. These newest models, in addition to the TL619 launched in 2021, round out the R-Series telehandler lineup.

The TL923 hydraulic system is designed for faster boom speeds and heavier lifting.

Both the TL723 at 100 horsepower and the TL923 at 135 horsepower come equipped with advanced Bobcat Tier 4, turbocharged engine. The units are equipped with automatic ride control to reduce material spillage and allows faster movement of material.

Some features:

-- An ECO mode allows the operator to maintain hydraulic performance without using the engine's full power -- working with lower RPM, less noise and lower fuel consumption.

-- Smooth Drive mode is ideal for maneuvering across jobsites.

-- Dynamic Drive mode increases the responsiveness of the telehandler's acceleration and deceleration.

-- Flex Drive mode allows the operator to manage the engine speed independently from travel speed.

-- Advanced Attachment Control mode allows for full auxiliary hydraulic performance.

DEERE ENTERS JOINT AGREEMENT WITH SUREFIRE

Deere & Company has entered a joint venture with Atwood, Kansas-based SureFire Ag Systems and its subsidiary, SureFire Electronics. It builds fertilizer and sprayer mixing systems.

The joint venture will operate under the brand names SurePoint Ag Systems and SurePoint Electronics.

SurePointâ?¯designs and manufactures liquid fertilizer application and spray tendering systems, and anhydrous and irrigation injection equipment. The company builds customized kits to upgrade fertilizer application technology on planters, with instructions and teams that can help dealers install kits for customers.

SurePoint works across brands. Through the joint venture, SurePointâ?¯will have access to select Deere technologies.

SurePoint was founded in 2007.
