DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 12 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was up 6 cents at $5.65. The national average basis for soybeans was unchanged at 39 cents under the January futures contract and the DTN National Soybean Index was up 11 cents at $12.36. The national average basis for HRW wheat was 2 cents stronger at 16 cents under the December futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 29 cents at $8.46. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 3 cents stronger at 30 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 17 cents at $9.94.

The national average corn basis for Monday is 12 cents under the December futures, unchanged from Friday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The national average soybean basis for Monday is at 39 cents under the January futures, unchanged from Friday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT

The national average SRW wheat basis for Monday is at 42 cents under the December futures, 1 cent weaker than Friday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average HRW wheat basis for Monday is at 16 cents under the Kansas City December futures, 2 cents stronger than Friday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The national average HRS wheat basis for Monday is at 30 cents under the Minneapolis December futures, 3 cents stronger than Friday's basis.
