DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was 1 cent stronger at 23 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was down 4 cents at $3.50. The national average basis for soybeans was 1 cent stronger at 61 cents under the January futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was down 2 cents at $8.21. The national average basis for HRW wheat was unchanged at 33 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was down 4 cents at $4.05. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 4 cents stronger at 16 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was unchanged at $4.92.

The DTN national average corn basis for Wednesday is at 23 cents under the March futures, 1 cent stronger than Tuesday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The DTN national average soybean basis for Wednesday is at 61 cents under the January futures, 1 cent stronger than Tuesday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:

The DTN national average SRW wheat basis for Wednesday is at 5 cents under the Chicago March futures, 2 cents weaker than Tuesday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The DTN national average HRW wheat basis for Wednesday is at 33 cents under the Kansas City March futures, unchanged from Tuesday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The DTN national average HRS wheat basis for Wednesday is at 16 cents under the Minneapolis March futures, 4 cents stronger than Tuesday's basis.
