DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was 1 cent weaker at 19 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was up 8 cents at $3.77. The national average basis for soybeans was unchanged at 80 cents under the November futures contract and the DTN National Soybean Index was up 6 cents at $8.41. The national average basis for HRW wheat was unchanged at 27 cents under the December futures contract, and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 8 cents at $3.83. The national average basis for HRS wheat was unchanged at 41 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 5 cents at $5.02.

The DTN national average corn basis for Tuesday is at 19 cents under the December futures, 1 cent weaker than Monday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The DTN national average soybean basis for Tuesday is at 80 cents under the November futures, unchanged from Monday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:

The DTN national average SRW wheat basis for Tuesday is at 15 cents under the Chicago December futures, unchanged from Monday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The DTN national average HRW wheat basis for Tuesday is at 27 cents under the Kansas City December futures, unchanged from Monday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The DTN national average HRS wheat basis for Tuesday is at 41 cents under the Minneapolis December futures, unchanged from Monday's basis.
