OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 10:29 -- December corn is down 2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 2 cents, December KC wheat is up 18 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 14 1/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 9 3/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 201.76 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.020 and October crude oil is down $0.01 per barrel. December gold is down $4.50 per ounce. At mid-morning wheat is again flying higher as things have taken a turn for the worse in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Soybeans and products are all trading higher with corn moderately lower.
OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 08:30 -- December corn is down 2 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 5 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is up 3/4 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 2 1/2 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 3 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 55.94 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.080 and October crude oil is up $0.39 per barrel. December gold is down $8.90 per ounce. Corn and soybeans correct a bit from sharp gains on Wednesday, while wheat is firmer again on restricted Black Sea grain exports. Bean oil futures have now fallen to the lowest level since July 1. Despite rumors, there were no new China soy purchases announced early Thursday, but new-crop export sales were huge at over 91 mb.
LivestockPosted 11:35 -- October live cattle are up $2.38 at $213.15, October feeder cattle are up $5.13 at $319.375, October lean hogs are down $0.33 at $80.575, December corn is down 3 3/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $2.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 177.73 points and the NASDAQ is up 377.08 points. Thursday's export report shared that beef net sales of 9,200 mt for 2026 were down 1% from the previous week and 38% from the prior 4-week average. The three largest buyers were Japan (2,200 mt), South Korea (2,100 mt) and Taiwan (1,900 mt). Pork net sales of 38,700 mt for 2026 were up 42% from the previous week and 23% from the prior 4-week average. The three largest buyers were Mexico (22,700 mt), Japan (2,600 mt) and Colombia (2,200 mt).
Posted 08:37 -- October live cattle are up $2.28 at $213.05, October feeder cattle are up $3.90 at $318.15, October lean hogs are up $0.03 at $80.925, December corn is down 6 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $3.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 8.61 points and the NASDAQ is up 164.62 points. Following the lower closes seen earlier this week in the cattle complex, both the live cattle and feeder cattle contracts are trading higher as traders lend the complex some support. No new cash cattle trade has been noted, but more trade will need to develop in the South especially where trade has yet to develop.
