Dry conditions are featured across all major U.S. crop areas Friday, favorable for harvest. Light rain in the Canadian Prairies will cause more harvest disruption. Meanwhile the Far West will see heavy rain with some flooding but also drought benefit. Unseasonable warmth will further dry out soils in the southwestern Plains wheat areas and keep drought pressure in effect over the Southeast.

Markets

Financial markets have been waiting on this morning's Q3 GDP all week, with the chatter being it could set the tone for December's Federal Reserve meeting. Otherwise, news is expected to be light for the commodity sector in general.
