Spot ethanol prices moved mixed Tuesday afternoon ahead of weekly supply data due out Wednesday from the U.S. Energy Information Administration that's expected to show a stock draw.
Cash prices at the Argo terminal in the Chicago market traded twice at $1.5225 and five times at $1.525 per gallon for a modest 0.5-cent gain.
The higher valued trades follow morning weakness when the cash market was pressed down on weaker corn futures traded on the Chicago Board of Trade, which slumped to a nearly three-week low at $3.62 per bushel.
