Spot Ethanol Prices Track Corn, RBOB Futures Higher
Spot ethanol prices nudged up during a thinly traded session early Wednesday, lifted by modest gains by Chicago Board of Trade corn futures and RBOB futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange and expectations that demand will pick up.
Prompt transfer ethanol at the Argo terminal in the Chicago market was talked 0.25 cents higher on the session at $1.4925 per gallon, with February ethanol supply at the New York Harbor pegged 1.0 cent higher at $1.565 per gallon. 2017 D6 RINs traded at 48.0 cents, 47.5 cents and 47.75 cents, up 0.75 cents on the session.
