Spot ethanol prices moved mixed during morning to early afternoon trade as traders awaited news from the Environmental Protection Agency about the volume of biofuels required for blending in 2014 under Renewable Fuel Standard program.
Prompt ethanol barge at the New York Harbor was talked at $2.29 per gallon, up 2.0 cents on the day, while prompt delivered ethanol at Argo hub near Chicago traded at $2.05 per gallon, down 2.0 cents.
