DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 17 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was up 9 cents at $5.22. The national average basis for soybeans was 1 cent weaker at 47 cents under the November futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was up 16 cents at $11.98. The national average basis for HRW wheat was 3 cents stronger at 17 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 14 cents at $7.42. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 4 cents stronger at 18 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 20 cents at $9.72.

The national average corn basis for Wednesday is 17 cents under the December futures, unchanged from Tuesday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The national average soybean basis for Wednesday is at 47 cents under the November futures, 1 cent weaker than Tuesday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT

The national average SRW wheat basis for Wednesday is at 51 cents under the December futures, unchanged from Tuesday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average HRW wheat basis for Wednesday is at 17 cents under the Kansas City December futures, 3 cents stronger than Tuesday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The national average HRS wheat basis for Wednesday is at 18 cents under the Minneapolis December futures, 4 cents stronger than Tuesday's basis.
