Corn Finishes Lower, Ethanol Plant Idled

December corn closed down 5 3/4 cents after the ethanol producer, POET, announced it was idling an Indiana plant that processes 30 million bushels of corn a year. November soybeans held a small gain, while all three wheats ended lower.
