DTN Daily Basis Comments
Corn, Soybean Basis Steady; HRW Wheat Basis Stronger
The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 36 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was down 1 cent at $3.48. The national average basis for soybeans was also unchanged at 87 cents under the January futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was down 12 cents at $8.20. The national average basis for HRW wheat was 1 cent stronger at 30 cents under the March futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 10 cents at $4.90. The national average basis for HRS wheat was unchanged at 34 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 5 cents at $5.54.

The DTN National Corn Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 36 cents under the Chicago March futures contract, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
SOYBEANS:The DTN National Soybean Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 87 cents under the Chicago January futures contract, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Soft Red Winter Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 32 cents under the Chicago March futures, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 31 cents under the Kansas City March futures contract, 1 cent stronger than Wednesday's basis.
HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 34 cents under the Minneapolis March futures contract, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
