The recent weather pattern continues to bring rain to the Eastern Corn Belt while the western edge remains dry, leaving high poor-to-very poor crop ratings in both Indiana and South Dakota. With these early problems, a record national yield doesn't seem likely in 2017 (Source: DTN ProphetX).
