DTN Weekly Average DDG Price Lower
OMAHA (DTN) -- Of the 40 locations DTN contacted that showed spot offers for domestic distillers dried grains (DDG) for the week ended July 16, prices were mixed again, but $2 lower on average at $128 per ton versus the prior week.
The DTN National Corn Index was 17 cents lower versus one week ago, adding pressure to corn by product and coproduct feed prices. As plant production increases, DDG supplies are more readily available, but demand hasn't been keeping up, especially given the extreme hot weather so far this summer as well as competition from other feed products.
