Renewed Argentina Dryness
OMAHA (DTN) -- Dry conditions returning in Argentina, and continued beneficial conditions across Brazil, are the key weather items for the commodity trade's attention Monday.
DRY ARGENTINA PATTERN RETURNS
The DTN ag weather forecast calls for the mainly dry pattern in Argentina to reassert itself during this mid-March time frame. Weekend showers were widely scattered. The next rain chance does not appear until the end of this week. Reduced soybean harvest is already assumed in the trade.
STILL FAVORABLE IN BRAZIL

Across Brazil, there continue to be no significant concerns for maturing and harvesting of soybeans and first crop corn in southern Brazil. The harvest of soybeans in northern areas may slow with a few thunderstorms in the area at times. Soil moisture in key second-crop corn (safrinha) areas should be adequate to in some cases surplus.
MINIMAL SOUTHERN PLAINS MOISTURE
There are again no significant rainfall chances for the west and central areas of the Southern Plains during the next five-to-seven days. Rain will be needed as winter wheat development increases during the coming weeks to prevent significant stress to wheat and potential yield declines.
MILDER IN NORTHERN PLAINS
There are no significant concerns for the weather in the Northern Plains this week. There is also some chance for precipitation in central and southern areas of the western Midwest late in the week.
