DTN Daily Basis Comments
Corn, Wheat Basis Moved to September; Soybean Basis to August
The national average basis for corn was 1 cent stronger at 21 cents under the September futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was down 2 cents at $4.25. The national average basis for soybeans was unchanged at 80 cents under the August futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was down 6 cents at $8.14. The national average basis for HRW wheat was unchanged at 30 cents under the September futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was unchanged at $4.52. The national average basis for HRS wheat was unchanged 2 cents stronger at 49 cents under the September futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 4 cents at $5.13.

The DTN National Soybean Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 80 cents under the Chicago August futures contract, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Soft Red Winter (SRW) Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 15 cents under the Chicago September futures, 1 cent stronger than Wednesday's basis.
HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Winter (HRW) Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 30 cents under the Kansas City September futures contract, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Spring (HRS) Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 49 cents under the Minneapolis September futures contract, 2 cents stronger than Wednesday's basis.
